Ghanaian movie actor, Clement Bonnie, known in the industry as Mr Beautiful has stated that he has not quit acting and again will forever remain a member of the ruling National Democratic Congress(NDC).
In an interview with O.J on Space FM, Mr Beautiful as he is affectionately called said he will forever remain an actor and an NDC member in an answer to whether he is into acting or politics. He however said he is not a politician.
"Mr Beautiful will forever remain an actor and Mr Beautiful will forever remain an NDC member. I am not a politician, I am a Ghanaian. Every individual with a vision sees clearly who has a vision. It has always been my wish to see Ghana the way I see other European countries. So if someone comes with a vision that will champion for the course of a better Ghana I will support him. And that person is President Mahama."
Mr Beautiful has been a staunch member of the ruling National Democratic Congress(NDC). He was active in the party's way to the Flag Staff House in the 2012 elections.
He is also active in the 2016 general elections. He is the Project Coordinator for 'Celebrities For Mahama', an association that seeks to mobilize entertainment players and other celebrities for President Mahama to see him through to the general elections in 2016.
His involvement in politics especially joining the NDC party has cost him a lot in the movie industry to the extent of not being featured in movies especially the local(Twi) movies.
