Popular Lagos prophet, T.B Joshua of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) says he had foretold the horrendous Paris attack two years ago (i.e. in November 2013).
This was contained in a post on his Facebook wall a day after the attack and was accompanied by the video in which he is supposed to have prophesied about the attack which has reportedly taken the lives of some 128 people with over 300 others injured.
His facebook post read as follows:
"On Sunday 19th January 2013, during a Sunday Live Service at The SCOAN, Prophet T.B. Joshua gave a word of prophecy concerning the nation, France. This is what he said,
"France as a nation, there is a strange thing they have to pray about which is in their country now. There are some strange people; they have strategic places in France. They should pray against suicide bombers or an attack of any kind that will affect many. Take care of your homeland security. This is France, this time."
We pray for the families and loved ones of all those affected by this tragedy in the nation of France. May God strengthen them that their hearts may rise and seek the things above that they may be comforted under the present sorrow."
The attack has been roundly condemned by world leaders and France has vowed to crush the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) who claimed responsibility for the attack.
Dispute over Prophesy date
A casual check of the date TB Joshua post claims he made the prophesy is quoted as 19th January 2013 supposedly a Sunday. But further checks indicate that the date above was a Saturday.
This would have passed off as a typographical mistake in his Facebook post, but it turns out that the same 'wrong' date is quoted in the video above and read by the voice over accompanying the video.
What remains to be seen is the explanation that SCOAN will offer to this 'blatant' mistake. Stay Tuned.
