Nana Nsoroma, the classical high-life artist has done it again with his new single “Amponsah” which is typically Ghana High-Life Music.
Nana Nsoroma told GhanaSky.com analysist and publicist that, his music
or his songs is inspirational for everyone, adult especially the youths.
In a short conversation with GhanaSky.com, Nana Nsoroma shared his opinion about how Ghana music is drastically diverting into another way which is not good.
He said, previously musician sang to educate and entertain people.
Legends like Nana Kwame Ampadu, Agyakoo Nimo, Akwaboah and all the musicians
were singing to educate the target audience not today, now artist will just wake up
write any words he or her prefer either will spoil the young ones or not he or her don’t
care.
Nana Nsoroma continued that it is time for all Ghana musicians to write good songs
to educate others.
Highlife is a music genre that originated in present-day Ghana in the 19th century, during its history as a colony of the British Empire. It uses the melodic and main rhythmic structures of traditional Akan music, but is played with Western instruments.
