The breaking news reaching GhanaSky.com indicate that, Hajia Mariama Bawumia, Ghana Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia’s mother is dead.
According to GhanaSky.com analyst, she died at a health facility in Accra, where she was on admission receiving treatment after being ill for some time.
Hajia Mariama Bawumia, the 81 years old mother of the Vice President of Ghana was a native of Kpasenkpe in the West Mamprusi Municipality of the North East Region.
She was one of the first northern female students to gain admission to the prestigious Wesley Girls High School in Cape Coast in the Central Region of Ghana.
